It is that time of the year where everything else has to wait. No submission deadline, no schedules are effective when we are in the second week of The Championships. The thrill, the excitement, the passion, the belief, the energy and the love of this place exceeds every other feeling. Pick your spot and fix your eyes on the television as what we are going to witness today is history in the making. It is Gentlemen’s quarter finals day.

First match on the centre court features the crowd favourite Andy Murray, as he takes on Vasek Pospisil. Pospisil is having a dream tournament as this is his first quarter-final appearance in any Grand Slam. On the other hand Andy has never been knocked out before quarters at Wimbledon in last 7 years.

On Court No. 1, the first match is between Roger Federer and Gilles Simon. The seven time champion here at Wimbledon is yet to drop serve in the tournament. His opponent, Simon, is in fine form as well. In their fourth round encounter, Simon knocked out number 6 seed Tomas Berdych in straight sets.

The second match on centre court will see the defending champion and number 1 seed, Novak Djokovic in action. He takes on Marin Cilic of Croatia. Djokovic comes into the quarter-final fixture with slight disadvantage as his previous match finished on Tuesday, whereas the big Croatian had an entire day off. However, Cilic has come out second best in all of their previous meetings.
